In this paper, an omnidirectional circularly polarized (CP) antenna based on FR-4 substrate is proposed. It is designed for LPWAN applications operating in the 830–1000 MHz frequency range by reconfiguring the resonance using capacitors placed on three arc-shaped conductors. Circular polarization is achieved through phase-shifted excitation of the radiating elements, while omnidirectional radiation is obtained by combining a central capacitive pin with an electrical load. The simulation results show S11 less than −10 dB, an axial ratio below 3 dB across the tuning range, and stable omnidirectional radiation with consistent gain performance.
